I would therefore like to introduce myself: My name is Daniel Ojdanic; founder and heart of Competence City. My career began in 1985 in Vienna; Austria. With in-depth training as an IT businessman and diverse professional experience - from radio technology to software development - I have developed the ability to create innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Over the last 12 years; I shaped my career at d.velop GmbH; where I specialized in SharePoint solutions as a programmer and consultant.
My passion for technology; combined with a deep understanding of my customers' needs; enabled me to offer tailored and effective solutions.
My focus is on driving digital change in companies through clear and efficient processes.

Fun fact about the story

My journey at DO Solutions began with a challenging project in the logistics industry. Despite the high qualifications of everyone involved; we encountered unexpected delays that prolonged the project several times. Subsequent analysis revealed a lack of fundamental industry knowledge and understanding of new legislation; particularly as the UK leaves the EU.

This experience was the turning point for us. We realized that the key to success lies not only in qualifications; but also in industry-specific knowledge and continuous training. This gave rise to the idea of the competency matrix; which enables a holistic view of qualifications and competencies - encompassing both hard skills and soft skills. Since then; we have focused on developing not only our employees' skills; but also their understanding of the industry and its constant changes. Our mission is to create an environment in which employees and companies alike can grow and develop through education and knowledge sharing.

Our Competence Matrix is used to identify the right talent for projects and roles; and through partnerships with training centers we help companies make the most of their training budget.

Additional modules can be implemented at any time as required; such as an additional scanning line for batch processing of other types of documents; file management or an intranet portal.
